My Favorite Store-bought HEALTHY Snacks

Here are a few of my favorite store-bought snacks! All of these are healthy alternatives to snacks that I usually crave. I also include where you can find these delicious treats. Hope you enjoy!

Kodiak Cakes

This mix is soooo good! It comes in a few different flavors (like peanut butter or chocolate!!!!!) I love making waffles and pancakes with the Buttermilk flavor. If you're a fan of Bisquick waffles then you will LOVE this! It tastes amazing and you get the added benefit of knowing that it is better for you. I have used the chocolate one to make muffins too! You will not be disappointed if you try this mix.

Square Bar

I am a HUGE fan of Square Bars. They come in so many different flavors! Some of my favorites are cherry coconut, crunch, and peanut butter. These little bars are great to toss in your bag for when you're in a hurry. I honestly keep one in my backpack, purse, and computer bag just in case I randomly get hungry haha. These bars are coated in chocolate so it's as if you're eating dessert!

Biena Chickpeas

Okay honestly these are a little dangerous to buy because I could eat the whole bag in one sitting! These roasted chickpeas are sooo good. They are perfect for when you want something salty. These crunchy chickpeas have more protein and fiber than potato chips or pretzels. They also come in many different flavors such as Habanero, Ranch, and Honey Roasted. I usually just eat them by themselves (because they're that good) but they would be a great salad topping too!

Chia Pod

This little Chia Pod is so cute! This is a delicious chia pudding. I love the banana flavor (it reminds me of baby food but hey thats not a bad thing!). It also comes in other flavors like Vanilla Bean, Dark Cacao and Mango. This is a great snack to have on hand for when you don't feel like soaking chia seeds yourself.

Shine Organics Pouches

I can't say enough good things about this snack!! This is another one that reminds me of baby food--I promise this is the last one! But it is so easy and tasty. You can bring this snack with you where ever you go. I have tried this flavor and another flavor and both of them were AMAZING. You can only taste the fruit and none of that "healthy stuff" that some people are scared to taste. I love these because it tastes SO good and it is packed with fruits, veggies, and micronutrients.

Black Bean Hummus

My boyfriend's mom introduced me to this over the weekend... and this is not your average hummus! This spicy black bean hummus is the perfect dip for your favorite veggie. I also tried their carrot-sriracha hummus and which is a bit sweeter but also has a little kick. I definitely recommend this for your next get together :)

Yasso Bars: Coffee Chocolate Chip

I honestly didn't even remember that these were frozen greek yogurt bars until I re-read the box. If you like ice cream, GO TRY THESE NOW! I am obsessed with the coffee chocolate chip flavor but I am dying to try some of the others flavors because they sound so good!

Hail Merry tarts

These tarts. are. amazing. They are also VEGAN! This is a dessert that can really make you smile. They are made from coconut oil other healthy fats. I feel like the second someone hears that a food is vegan they automatically think it isn't gonna taste good. Boy are they wrong! I absolutely love these tarts. I love the lemon tart (on the right). They remind me of lemon bars...so good. If you don't like coconut then you probably won't like these because you can definitely taste it... but if you don't like coconut then what are you doing with your life???? Just kidding. Anyways, I highly recommend these tarts!

Wow I am hungry after writing this post. I think a great way to live healthy life is to start by making small, healthier choices. Everyday. Instead of eating potato chips, eat these roasted chickpeas! Instead of eating a candy bar, eat a Square Bar! Your body will thank you :)
